Welcome to CheckPointSpot. By accessing or using this website and registering for any event listed on it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the Platform

CheckPointSpot provides an online platform for event organizers to list events and for participants to register and pay for those events. We act as a registration and payment agent on behalf of the organizer. The organizer remains solely responsible for the conduct of the event.

2. Accounts and Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, complete and current information at registration. Incorrect details (including name, identification number and t-shirt size) may result in the inability to collect your race pack.

3. Registration and Payment

A registration is only confirmed once full payment has been received and a confirmation slip has been emailed to you. Registration fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless otherwise stated and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Registration slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Participation and Risk

Participation in sporting events involves inherent risks. By registering you confirm that you are medically fit to participate, and you assume all risks associated with participation. You agree to follow the instructions of the organizer, marshals and medical personnel at all times.

5. Changes and Cancellation

The organizer reserves the right to change the event date, venue, route or format, or to cancel the event, due to circumstances beyond its control, including weather, public health directives or government orders. Refunds in such cases are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, text, graphics and software, is the property of CheckPointSpot or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

7. Photography and Media

By participating in an event you consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded, and grant the organizer and CheckPointSpot a royalty-free licence to use such media for promotional purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckPointSpot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or participation in any event.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
